Life Is Beautiful
The movie, Life Is Beautiful, is touching. In the movie, it gives us the experience of a Jewish man and his familys life during the Holocaust. There were many similarities between the movie and actual events in the Holocaust. The idea of how the Jews got to the gas chambers were similar, the trains. Also, what happened to them at the camps were similar. How they were treated was very bad which was, sadly, the harsh reality of how they were treated during that time. All in all, there were many similarities between the movie and the events/literature that I read about were similar.
In the movie, the main character tried to make the best out of bad situations. He would do funny things to make his son laugh, so he wouldn't be scared. The father was the only one trying to make the situation better, and not made it out to be the horrible thing that it was. If you were to compare the fathers tone to anyone else's, you would see that there is such a different, . Everyone else was scared. You could see the fear in their eyes, which made the mood/tone more serious, and more sad. Which made the mood different from what the mood the main character was giving us.
The film constantly shows beauty and perseverance For example, how the father went to all limits to make sure his son wasn't scared, and that he wasn't in harms way. That was probably the best things about the movie best things about the movie. Another thing that showed beauty was how, in the end, the family reunited. The scene itself, brought so much happiness and joy to the movie. How happy they were, and the fact that they had hope and didn't give up, was so beautiful. There were many things that made this movie beautiful, these are just a couple.
