Sears Tower, Not Willis Tower
This spring break was quite eventful for me, which is something new. Usually, I don't really do anything over breaks except hang out with my sister or something, but this break was different. I suggested that we should go downtown, and my sister is the one who suggested that we go to the Sears Tower. We were all talking about it, to see if we should actually do it. In the end, we decided to, and we were on our way. We got there, and we were waiting in line. Surprisingly, the first line moved quickly. As we were going further up, I was getting really anxious but also excited at the same time. When we brought the tickets, we thought that was going to be it, and that we could finally go. Turns out, we were wrong. There was still another 45 minute wait! So, we decided to just sit down and wait. The line finally moved, and we were getting closer. When we finally got to the elevator, they out like 20 people in one small elevator. I was so uncomfortable. Since we were going up really high, I was squished for a really long time, and my ears popped. When we finally got up there, it was phenomenal. The sight was something unimaginable. It was so beautiful, and so worth the wait. My sister and I decided to go on the balcony, which was nerve racking. I was really scared. I am not a fan of heights, and I was standing in a glass box, with people jumping next to me to see it would "break." After a while I got used to it, but my hands were still shaking tremendously. That was one of the first time we ever really did anything over a break, and it was something everyone should experience because the sight is beautiful, and it's a great thing to experience!
My family goes there every year, isn't it so cool? I love it up there! You should check out the Arch in St. Louis, that view is so pretty.
