A Day with the Famous

I am quite a fan of many people, so this was quite difficult. I narrowed it down to two people. These two people are Johnny Depp and Kenny Wormald.
     I am going to start off with talking about Johnny Depp. He is one of the people that I would literally die to meet. He is one of my favorite celebrities. He has portrayed so many different people, and I find him as such an inspiration. He has so many different characters, and he is just such a great actor. He is also such a great person, I've watched videos of how he went to a hospital to meet someone who loves him, but also has cancer. Come on, isn't that so great? Anyways, if I were to have one day to spend with him, I would ask to make a short film, explore downtown, with him, and probably ask if we can go to one of his seven islands! I would also probably wanna have just McDonald's or something, because I don't need a fancy dinner, to have a great day with him. He is one of my favorite celebrities, and anything he has starred in, I have probably watched. That's why I would want to spend a day with Johnny Depp!
     Moving on to Kenny Wormald. I recently watched Footloose, and he was the main character in the movie. He is also a professional dancer, and such a great actor. No one really knows this about me, but I love dancing and I really wanna do something with that when I grow up. If I were to have one day with him, I would want him to teach me some choreography. Not only would a day with him be a dream come true by just meeting him, but he could also really help me improve and develop my dance skills. Which would be two dreams coming true in one day!

    Wow.
    1. I am the biggest fan of Johnny Depp, purely because of his work with Tim Burton, aka my favorite director. Also, Johnny Depp is probably one of the funniest actors ever and can play any role with ease? My goals are to master that ability.
    2. I just watched Footloose too! It's really a great movie, and I understand why you would love him. Also, what kind of dancer are you? I used to do Jazz.

     The title of this blog, is one of my favorite quotes. Once I read it, I sat down and just took a minute to analyze it. I knew from the moment I read it, that I would really relate to it. There are moments in everyone's life, where they question whether to do something or not. I know I do. For me, I'm more of a shy person, so I don't take the risk. Yet, I always wonder what would have happened if I had actually taken that risk. I will always regret not taking the risks in the past, because what if it could have changed my life in a completely different way? You see, taking a risk is something you should always do. If it is something you might be so scared of, take a moment, and look at the pros and cons. That's what I do. In the end, I always look at the cons even though there might have been more pros. I always find a way or a reason on NOT to do something, don't be like me. If I learned to take a risk, so should you.

Beginning of the End

     Over the past three years, I've really grown fond of heritage. Of course sometimes I hate having to wake up and go to school, but who doesn't? In the end, I'm grateful for all the opportunities heritage has given me. It's the beginning of May, meaning my middle school years are almost over. Part of me can't be more excited for the next chapter of my life. Then again, another part of me is more scared than ever to move onto the next part of my life. I'm basically one step closer to being out there in the world all by myself. I can't wait for that, and I want that to happen. I also kind of want to stay a kid forever though. Perseverance

      Now that we have summit, school has been so much harder. These focus areas piling on top of each other, it's like never ending. Summit has been very tough because, #1, I'm still getting used to the whole new platform, and #2, these focus areas need time and thought put into them, and it takes more than a day or two to get most of them done. I persevered because this is my education, and even though it is hard I'm not going to just give up. Of course I needed patience though, because to be able to have go preserve through something like this, you do need patience to get it done and tolerance to failure as well, because failure with this is not uncommon.      Some traits Nick Vujicic has is self-confidence, courage, and of course perseverance.
