Summer Reading Blog- Papertowns: Conflict (2)

     The book I chose to read for this assignment was "Paper Towns", written by John Green. There were many conflicts throughout the entire book, as a whole. Some were solved, however some were not. The main conflict was Margo running away, basically meaning she was missing. Margo leaving was like a trickle effect, because when she left everything else went horribly wrong.     As I said in the first paragraph, the main problem was that Margo was gone (missing). This conflict was both external and internal. The reason it was internal was because of Quentin. He was feeling so many emotions because of the fact that he was in love with her, and she was missing. He was worried, scared, frustrated, sad, and some grief. He wanted to find her so badly because he wanted her back, and he wanted to know that she wasn't dead. The reason it was external is because they had to do a lot of researching, investigating, and going to other places (that were dangerous to explore)...

Moving On and Up

     Eighth grade is coming down to the end. There are less than three days of school left, and I'm honestly really sad. Not just because I'm leaving Heritage, but because when we leave Heritage, we all go our own ways. My two best friends who I've known my entire life, all three of us are going to separate schools. One is going to Fenwick, another to RB, and one to Morton. Very different schools. I think part of the reason, I don't want school to end, is because of that. I'm scared to have to start all over again. I'm scared to lose all the friends I really do have. No one understands how grateful I really truly am for them, because without them I would be nothing. Yes, I am very excited for high school. I also am not excited to leave. Leaving doesn't sound so fun. I'm excited for this new chapter in my life. I am excited to move up. Perseverance

      Now that we have summit, school has been so much harder. These focus areas piling on top of each other, it's like never ending. Summit has been very tough because, #1, I'm still getting used to the whole new platform, and #2, these focus areas need time and thought put into them, and it takes more than a day or two to get most of them done. I persevered because this is my education, and even though it is hard I'm not going to just give up. Of course I needed patience though, because to be able to have go preserve through something like this, you do need patience to get it done and tolerance to failure as well, because failure with this is not uncommon.      Some traits Nick Vujicic has is self-confidence, courage, and of course perseverance. How he had self confidence is because he doesn't let what other people effect the way he sees himself, and he also doesn't hide himself. He actually goes out.
